The role focuses on analyzing and processing medical invoices, repricing incoming bills, coding medical bills into the repricing database, and reviewing supporting documentation to determine appropriate reimbursement of billed services.
Demonstrated experience working as a medical bill review/coding specialist.
Preferred or considered certifications in medical bill review/coding.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills and comfort working in an electronic medium.
Fluency in Spanish or another language is a plus.
Daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with slight variation.
Office-based work in a clean, comfortable setting.
