Eventide Crete in Crete, Nebraska is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee the day-to-day nursing operations of a skilled nursing facility.
The role is responsible for ensuring the highest degree of quality care for residents and tenants through coordination with Nursing, Social Services, Admissions, Activities, Housekeeping, and Infection Control.
Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, evaluating, and directing the nursing department; improving care delivery processes; ensuring staffing levels meet requirements; reviewing documentation for compliance; assisting with budgeting and reporting; coordinating resident care plans; supporting Medicare-related processes; leading staff; and participating in hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Must have an active Nebraska RN license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
Preferred qualifications include long-term care experience and previous supervisory or management experience.
