Responsibilities include routine chart audits, deficiency tracking, request processing for protected health information, maintaining disclosure logs, scanning correspondence into the EMR, closing records at discharge, entering data, running EMR reports, and pulling charts for audits and studies. The role is office-based and may require occasional travel between sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Medical records and medical scheduling experience preferred
