Helio Health is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to support its mission of treating and promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues.
This role is responsible for all activities related to the disclosure of service recipient health records in response to consents, subpoenas, and other requests. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and includes eligibility for a sign-on incentive of up to $1,500.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Current and valid Notary Public license preferred
- Experience in human services preferred
- Experience using electronic health records preferred
- Experience reviewing and fulfilling medical record requests preferred
- Equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered
