The leading cardiology group in the West Valley is expanding and looking to add a skilled team member to support its comprehensive practice.

The organization offers disease management clinics and a multidisciplinary approach to help prevent the progression of heart disease and minimize hospital admissions.
This role is responsible for acquiring and maintaining proper documentation for all necessary medical records in a professional and confidential manner.
Key duties include:
- Preparing physician and clinic schedules three days in advance
- Scanning, indexing, and verifying medical records
- Sending second requests for next-day appointments
- Answering overflow calls and rotating through the Release of Information desk
- Activating patients in the patient portal and responding to patient questions
- Processing daily Not-In-System folders and fax queue items
- Adding new referring physicians and APPs to the service provider database
- Completing Outlook emails and EMR flags throughout the day
- Retrieving and distributing medical records, mail, and add-on reports
- Checking and resolving Link Logic errors/DTS issues
- Moving and indexing records across multiple fax and document folders
- Obtaining and verifying orders with physicians for front office staff
- Running daily records release reports across all offices
