PediPlace is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate Medical Records Coordinator to support patient health information management in a nonprofit pediatric medical practice.
This role is responsible for coordinating medical records requests, maintaining accurate patient documentation in the EHR, supporting providers and staff, and helping families with scheduling and medical supply-related needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 to 2 years of medical office experience preferred
- Pediatric office experience is a plus
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, collaborative attitude
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
