Rite Med Group is seeking compassionate, motivated Podiatrists (DPMs) to provide podiatric care in assisted living facilities near Los Angeles, CA.
This role offers flexible scheduling, with availability for one day a week, several days a week, or a full-time schedule. The company provides the patients, coordinates the schedule, and handles billing so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
The organization supports post-acute care management in skilled nursing facilities, adult communities, and assisted living facilities, working with healthcare staff to improve quality of care and reduce hospitalization episodes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide podiatric evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care
- Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions, including diabetic foot care, ulcers, infections, corns, calluses, and toenail disorders
- Provide wound care management and preventive foot care education to patients and caregivers
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the organization's electronic health record system
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure proper use of medical equipment and supplies during visits
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatric medicine
- Current and unrestricted California state podiatry license
- Board certification or board eligibility in podiatric medicine or surgery preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with EHR systems and mobile documentation tools
- Podiatry experience: 1 year required
