The position provides individual services to children from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays at clients' homes and/or daycare settings. The role offers a flexible work schedule and autonomy in client selection.
Schedule
- Proprietary software and AI for clinician-client matching
- Clinicians have autonomy to select clients
- Flexible scheduling with part-time or full-time opportunities
- Workload range: 10 to 40 hours per week
- Client selection can occur at the clinician's convenience
Duties
- Provide 1:1 treatment in clients' homes or daycare centers
- Provide parent education, training, and support
- Collaborate with other clinicians as needed/requested to ensure quality of care
- Develop treatment plans
- Take session notes
- Submit progress reports in a timely manner
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience working with developmentally delayed children and/or a degree in a related field
- Positive, high energy, enthusiastic, and flexible demeanor
- Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver's license
- Proof of immunization records, CPR certification, and current negative TB test
- Strong work ethic and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Team-oriented approach
- Multilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Therapy activities may require playing on the floor or working in child-sized settings
- Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required
- Sudden and quick movements may be required
- Ability to walk, run occasionally, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, reach above the head, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes
