The coronary arteries are vital blood vessels that supply oxygen and essential nutrients to the heart muscle. When these arteries become narrowed or blocked, it can lead to serious conditions such as ischemic heart disease and myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. To address these issues, a surgical procedure known as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is performed. This procedure aims to reroute blood flow around the obstructed arteries, thereby restoring adequate blood supply to the heart.
