2. Procedure

• Step 1: Evaluation of Existing Frame The technician begins by assessing the patient's current eyeglass frame to determine its suitability for accommodating the low vision aid. This evaluation focuses on the frame's fit, comfort, and structural integrity to ensure it can support the additional weight and dimensions of the low vision aid.
• Step 2: Selection of Low Vision Aid Based on the patient's specific visual needs, the technician selects an appropriate low vision aid, which may include telescopic or microscopic lenses.
