HCC Risk Adjustment Coder

IKS Health is hiring HCC Coders.

IKS Health’s goal is to enable the efficient delivery of high-quality care through a combination of leading-edge technology and human expertise. The IKS Care Enablement Platform delivers healthcare administrative, clinical, and operational solutions utilizing tech-enabled clinical documentation, medical coding, and revenue integrity solutions.

The HCC Coder is responsible for reviewing medical records to identify pertinent HCC codes related to the patient's healthcare encounter. Coders must hold one of the credentials: CPC, COC, CRC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.

Tasks include abstracting appropriate information per client guidelines, meeting productivity and quality standards, using Aquity applications for real-time coding entry, clarifying ambiguous documentation with physicians, participating in team meetings and training, and staying current with Coding Clinic, CPT Assistant, and Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting. Coders also maintain active credentials and demonstrate professionalism and communication skills.

Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on market conditions, location, education, experience, and certifications. Benefits include voluntary options and 401k (subject to eligibility).
