We have an open position for a patient care coordinator or medical biller who is a motivated individual with a passion for helping people. The position includes submitting authorization requests to various insurance companies on behalf of patients and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place to aid in successfully obtaining authorization/reimbursement for prosthetic and orthotic equipment needed. Additionally, the role may include processing medical equipment claims for equipment provided to patients and handling various other tasks associated with coordinating the highest level of patient care.
Experience or training in medical billing/authorizations is preferable. Past experience in prosthetics and orthotics or durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus.
