JMA Pediatrics is seeking a full-time medical billing professional with 2-3 years of experience to join their team at the Raleigh office. Experience with Allscripts PM preferred but not required.
Responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Strong medical coding skills
- Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 codes, particularly in the pediatric setting
- Detailed coding and charge entry responsibilities
- Follow-up with insurance companies on pending claims
- Experience with Allscripts/Veradigm PM/EMR preferred but not required
- Experience with PayerPath preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service and effective communication with providers and insurance carriers
- Communication of monthly report assignments
- Assisting front office staff with billing questions courteously and timely
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
