As a Patient Success Associate at Luna, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients with payments, insurance questions, and account management. This fully remote position is perfect for detail-oriented individuals with a knack for problem-solving and a desire to make a difference in the patient experience. Currently offering closing shifts as follows: Monday to Friday 11:00 AM-7:30 PM EST / 10:00 AM-6:30 PM CST / 9:00 AM-5:30 PM MST / 8:00 AM-4:30 PM PST
How you will have an impact:
- Answer inbound patient phone calls as they come in
- Manage copay collections and communicate with other departments for any needs or patient reach out
- Create partner cases daily
- Weekly posting of late cancels
- Daily review of patient electronic communications and delegation as needed
- Create and maintain billing ledgers for patients with specific insurance requests
- Assist teammates in larger projects as needed
- Learn and understand basics of insurance billing: PPOs, HMOs, Medicare, Workers Comp
- Maintain industry-level working knowledge of medical billing at Luna
- Support administrative functions
- Perform queue-based work like authorizations, insurance payment posting, etc.
- Achieve goals set by management including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly patient payments and documentation
- Perform ad hoc tasks at manager's discretion
