Remote Medical Biller

Are you a detail-oriented medical billing specialist with strong claims and accounts receivable experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment? Join a collaborative, fully remote revenue cycle team supporting physician billing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working high volumes of claims, resolving complex billing issues, and owning the follow-up process from submission through payment.

Essential Job Functions include posting and reconciling payments and adjustments, preparing and submitting physician medical claims in accordance with federal, state, and payer guidelines, ensuring claims are submitted and paid properly by reviewing and correcting claim edits, errors, and denials, managing accounts receivable including follow-up with insurance carriers, investigating and following up with payers to drive timely reimbursement, performing billing adjustments, maintaining productivity standards of 100–150 claims per day while ensuring quality and accuracy, reviewing accounts for accuracy, documenting all account activity for an audit trail, utilizing Meditech and other systems to manage claim status, collaborating with teams to improve workflows, completing payor-specific training, and other duties as assigned.

Looking for candidates with 2+ years of medical billing or accounts receivable experience, experience with physician billing and claims submission, strong understanding of full revenue cycle including AR follow-up and denial resolution, familiarity with Meditech or similar systems preferred, ability to meet productivity in high volume environment, strong communication skills, ability to work independently remotely, detail-oriented with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and professional, dependable, self-motivated attitude.
