Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking Medical Billing / Coding Specialists to support Sandia National Laboratories located at 1515 Eubank Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123. The Clinic currently does not bill insurance companies, but the selected candidate will process patient data such as treatment records and insurance information, and code patient diagnoses with requests for insurance payments. HIPAA certification is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include reviewing medical record documentation and accurately assigning ICD-9/ICD-10 diagnoses and procedure codes, CPT IV and HCPCS codes, leading to correct Medicare Severity-Diagnosis Related Group (MS-DRG) or All Patient Refined-Diagnosis Related Group (APR-DRG) assignment. Ensure codes support the documented visit reason and medical necessity of outpatient accounts.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens for DOE contract security clearance and able to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying weights up to 50 lbs. No visa sponsorship is available.

- Minimum 2 years medical billing experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare medical office registration or clerical position
