Requirements & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding
- Experience with insurance claims processing, billing, and eligibility verification
- Ability to handle and resolve insurance denials effectively
- Knowledge of Medicare policies and procedures
- Attention to detail with strong record-keeping skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Previous medical billing experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in medical billing or coding are a plus
