Ensemble Health Partners is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, including hospitals and affiliated physician groups. This entry level Medical Records / Health Information Management Specialist role is onsite at Methodist University, Memphis, TN.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and reanalyzing medical records accurately and in a timely manner, managing accounts from electronic systems for missing documentation, follow-up with ancillary and nursing departments and providers, updating unbilled spreadsheets, reviewing electronic medical records and assigning charting deficiencies, managing work queues to ensure timely chart completion, adhering to company policies and workflows, identifying systematic problems, reporting issues and trends, documenting workflows, and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations, EMR experience, and healthcare revenue cycle experience are preferred. The role requires inquisitiveness and openness to innovation, including AI to improve processes and patient experience.
Certification of CRCR is required within 9 months of hire and will be company paid.

This position pays between $18.65 and $19.90 per hour based on experience. Note: Hourly pay does not qualify as yearly salary data for extraction, so salary_min and salary_max are not provided here.
- Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations preferred
