There is an immediate onsite opportunity for 4 full-time Medical Billing Specialists at the Tracy office, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities:

Verify medical eligibility, benefit coverage, and authorization requirements online or by phone.
Obtain authorizations if required by plan via fax, email, or online.
Process files within predesignated deadlines.
Contact patients to obtain information to process insurance claims or bill patients accordingly.
Contact Work Comp carriers to obtain information for authorizations and process accordingly.
Perform other duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Typing speed minimum of 45 words per minute
1-2 Years of Medical Billing Experience preferred

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $17.00 to $25.00
Annual salary range: $35,360 to $52,000
Overtime example pay range for 5 to 10 hours/week at 50 weeks: $6,375 to $18,750+
Production bonus up to $1,000/month
Profit bonus up to $1,000/month
