Become a part of a caring community by joining Humana as a Medical Records Retrieval Specialist (Risk Adjustment Representative 2). In this role, you will travel extensively within Philadelphia and Montgomery counties, PA, visiting provider offices to scan and upload medical records into a secure system for review by Humana's Coding staff. Responsibilities include collaborating with provider offices via phone and visits, accessing multiple EMR systems following HIPAA guidelines, and efficiently scheduling appointments to meet deadlines. Occasional overnight travel within the Northeast region may be required.
Required qualifications include over 1 year of experience with various Electronic Medical Records systems and working in a hospital or provider setting, residency in Philadelphia or Montgomery counties, and a valid driver's license with vehicle insurance. Preferred qualifications are proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in managed care, familiarity with medical terminology or ICD-10 codes, and prior medical record retrieval experience.
Working hours are 8 hours per day between 7 AM and 6 PM with flexibility. Although primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.

- Minimum of 1 year experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

- Ability to travel up to 100% within assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
