Premier Rheumatology of Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Biller/Coder with experience in prior authorizations for biologic medications, insurance verification, and insurance billing and coding to join their Rheumatology clinic team.
Responsibilities include insurance verification, explaining insurance and patient cost share, insurance billing and coding, prior authorizations, and managing accounts receivable.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in Rheumatology, current billing and coding certification, and insurance billing and coding experience. Experience with NextGen EMR is a plus. Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and a confident, professional demeanor are required.
The position is full-time with Monday through Thursday hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with 30 min lunch) and Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. A hybrid position may be available for the right candidate.
The clinic has a no medical marijuana use policy during work hours or on duty, and a pre-employment drug test is required.
