Medical Coder and Biller

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. If you have experience in medical billing and coding, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing medical documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing; assigning appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, ICD-9) to diagnoses and procedures; submitting claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail; following up on unpaid claims and resolving billing discrepancies; communicating with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries; maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality; processing payments; and staying updated on industry changes and regulations.

Previous medical billing experience is required, preferably with primary care and interventional pain management billing. Proficiency in medical billing systems, knowledge of ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding guidelines, and familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology are expected. Experience with EClinicalWorks and medical collections/workman's compensation is a plus.

This is an in-person, full-time position located in Coppell, TX. No remote or hybrid work allowed.
