Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants (ENTC), with locations in Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb Counties, is seeking a full-time Medical Biller/Coder, Monday – Friday. This role offers stability and the opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding practice.

ENTC has nearly 50 years of experience, known for staying current with advanced surgical and medical treatments and equipment.

Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing medical records for accurate coding and billing, submitting claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid claims and resolving discrepancies or denials, maintaining confidential patient records, collaborating with healthcare providers for accurate documentation, and complying with guidelines for Medicaid, Medicare, and other third-party reimbursements. The position also involves working on claim rejections and resubmissions and submitting secondary claims after primary insurance processing.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of billing, coding, and claims collection experience in healthcare, with certifications like CPC or CCS preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology, computer skills including EMR, knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines, experience with billing software and EHR systems, strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; preferred healthcare experience is 5 years with 3-5 years in billing and coding.
