Responsibilities include:
- Accurately post charges and insurance payments
- Manage claims denials, including appeals or refiling
- Draft letters to insurance companies
- Handle provider credentialing with insurance companies
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certifications
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation
