Nevada Pediatric Specialists is seeking a Medical Billing Lead to manage billing operations in a busy pediatric practice. This role is responsible for leading billing team workflows, managing accounts receivable follow-up, denials, and appeals, prioritizing claims by aging and revenue impact, monitoring productivity and turnaround times, escalating payer issues, and supporting accounts payable tasks including reimbursements and documentation.
The position reports to the Revenue Cycle Manager and requires onsite presence Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in Las Vegas, NV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead billing and coding team workflows
- Manage accounts receivable follow-up, denials, and appeals
- Prioritize claims based on aging and revenue impact
- Monitor backlogs, productivity, and turnaround time
- Escalate payer issues and resolve claim delays
- Support accounts payable activities such as reimbursements and documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with Medicaid & MCOs (required) and commercial/private payers
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience in a high-volume billing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatrics experience
- CPC certification
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) highly preferred; EMR/EHR experience required if eCW is not used

- Must demonstrate ability to manage billing workflows, prioritize accounts receivable, and handle payer escalations in a high-volume setting
