Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do
- Code and enter charges for medical, physical therapy, and occupational medicine using CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
- Investigate denials and resolve unpaid claims
- Communicate with payers, patients, and clinic staff
- Post payments and maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Prepare billing and A/R reports
- Audit claims for accuracy and compliance
- Support collections and patient statement workflows
- Prepare and complete check/cash deposits
- Support front desk reception and other administrative personnel as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing and/or coding experience
- Urgent care or multi-provider clinic experience is a plus
- Understanding of payer rules and claims lifecycle
- EMR/billing system proficiency
- Medical billing/coding certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, multi-line phones, printers, and other general office equipment

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

Immunization Requirements
- May require proof of immunizations including influenza, Hep B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella (or positive titers), PPD, and others required for staff and patient protection
