We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Lead to oversee internal comprehensive revenue cycle operations for our well-established ENT practice. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills and a background in full cycle revenue billing, coding, and management, ensuring that all billing processes and the practice run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires effective team leadership and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include overseeing correct and timely entry of diagnosis and procedure codes using up-to-date CPT and diagnosis codes, reviewing billing data daily for accuracy, reviewing patient charts and clinic schedules to ensure all charges are entered, completing coding reconciliation within 24 hours post-service, communicating with providers regarding documentation, auditing clinical documentation and coded data for reimbursement validation, analyzing medical records for documentation deficiencies, handling insurance correspondence, implementing office operation improvements, providing team training and support, and managing phone inquiries professionally.

Requirements include proven experience in medical billing with strong coding knowledge and team leadership, excellent organizational and schedule management skills, effective phone etiquette, knowledge of medical terminology, multitasking ability, decision-making and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team, computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and eClinicalWorks. Preferred certifications include CPC, AAPC Certified Professional Coder for physician offices or relevant qualifications based on experience.

Pay starts from $24.00 per hour.
