Supervisor, Billing & Reimbursement

As Supervisor of Billing & Reimbursement, you will oversee, train, and mentor billing and coding/reimbursement staff. Responsibilities include coordinating billing activities for institutional and professional medical claims, ensuring timely and accurate claim submission to government and commercial payers, monitoring billing workflows and claim edits, and resolving claim issues related to coding and payer requirements. You will ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer guidelines, maintain and monitor payer contract configurations, and analyze billing reports to identify trends and reduce revenue leakage. Leadership duties include conducting performance reviews and coaching team members.

This position requires adherence to infection control and safety standards, with regular attendance and availability to work defined schedules and overtime as needed.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years healthcare revenue cycle experience with at least one year supervisory or training experience in medical billing and/or coding. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification upon hire is required. Experience with revenue cycle contract management is preferred.
