Responsibilities include:
- Submitting claims, posting payments, updating claims
- Working with insurance companies to follow up on claims
- Checking insurance eligibility and authorizations
- Handling telephone communication with patients or their representatives
- Managing insurance denials and authorizations
- Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and past balances
- Updating insurance information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior billing experience required
- Previous clinical experience required
- At least 1 year of medical billing experience preferred
- Customer service oriented behavior
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week
