Medical Biller

• Prepare and submit claims electronically using EMR or EHR systems
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective communication with insurance companies and patients
• Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities, adjustments, and collections in medical records
• Collaborate with medical office staff to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Stay updated on changes in medical coding regulations, insurance policies, and billing procedures to optimize revenue recovery
