We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist with a strong background in coding and billing for facility-based services, professional fees, and anesthesia. The ideal candidate will be highly knowledgeable in commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid billing requirements and will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of claims.

Responsibilities include submitting claims accurately and timely, posting charges daily, verifying accuracy, posting insurance payments by line item, generating weekly reports on missing documentation, sending case status letters to attorneys for aged accounts, coordinating with law offices for medical record requests and other documentation, responding promptly to inquiries, attending staff meetings and continuing education, performing medical billing and coding for facility services, anesthesia, and professional fees, preparing claims for commercial insurance providers, Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulations, and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years medical billing experience preferred. Certification in Medical Billing and/or Coding a plus (e.g., CPC, CCS). Strong knowledge of insurance billing requirements (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid). Excellent communication, organizational, analytical skills. Ability to multitask, work independently, detail-oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant software.
