A prestigious, established ophthalmology and aesthetics practice seeks an experienced Medical Biller responsible for full revenue cycle management, ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions to insurance companies, claims denial resolution, and maintaining positive patient account balances.
This role is key to managing all administrative, billing, and accounting flows to improve revenue and enhance practice growth and reputation.

Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, submitting, and tracking medical claims to various insurance companies, commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Managing patient accounts, including billing, collections, and payment arrangements.
- Overseeing revenue cycle aspects such as authorization, eligibility verification, and managing denied and resubmitted claims.
- Ensuring billing and coding accuracy in compliance with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines.
- Managing accounts receivable including follow-ups on unpaid claims, resolving denials, and collections.
- Generating billing and collections reports, identifying trends and improvement areas.
- Meeting financial objectives through budgeting, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Presenting timely reports, KPIs, and metrics to management.
- Assisting in negotiating and maintaining insurance contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local laws.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferably 2-5 years of medical billing experience, with exposure to ophthalmology and cosmetic fields.
- College degree in Business Administration and certificate in Health Management and Billing preferred.
- Management experience and solid knowledge of Medical Billing, ICD-10 and CPT coding, and proficiency with EMR systems.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, insurance companies, and vendors.
- Flexible, reliable, positive attitude with the ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Medical Software.
Salary and Benefits:
