We are hiring an experienced Medical Biller with strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation, No-Fault, and Commercial Billing.
Experience working with all commercial insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare. Experience working with No-Fault and Workman's Comp and Commercial billing. Knowledge of insurance billing policies. Knowledge of HCFA forms, EFTs and analyzing A/R reports. Processing insurance denials, appeals, and grievances promptly. Corresponding with insurance companies daily via phone and/or e-mail. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Daily communication with the Billing Manager. Positive attitude. Adaptable to following protocol. Problem solver.
Requirements:
- Medical Billing experience required.
- Knowledge of Workers' Comp, No-Fault, and Commercial claims.
- Familiar with CPT & ICD-10 coding.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Minimum 3 years of experience billing in a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Submit and track insurance claims.
- Follow up on unpaid/denied claims.
- Verify insurance and post payments.
- Handle billing inquiries.
Salary is determined based on experience. Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
- Minimum 3 years medical billing experience in healthcare.
