Medical Biller Team Lead

We're seeking a hands-on Medical Billing Team Lead to ensure accurate billing operations in our Ormond Beach, FL office. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly review and analyze medical records to guarantee accurate coding and billing
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage for seamless billing
• Efficiently prepare and submit claims to insurance companies via electronic systems or mail
• Proactively follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure precise documentation and coding
• Lead and mentor a team of 4-15 members per account, fostering efficiency, accuracy, and growth within the team

• Proven expertise in medical billing procedures
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience leading a team, ensuring performance excellence
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical billing is required
• Leadership experience in a similar role preferred
• Must have verbal skills
