This position is for a Medical Biller focused on ENT specialties. Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting clean claims, posting payments, resolving claim denials, communicating with insurance carriers and patients, monitoring accounts receivable aging reports, staying current with payer rules and regulations, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications include a high school diploma (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred), 2+ years of medical billing experience (ENT experience preferred), proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing systems like ECW, Epic, or AdvancedMD, excellent communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid/remote setting.
The position offers full-time, Monday-Friday employment, with hybrid work location in Skokie, IL, and remote flexibility based on experience.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years medical billing experience in healthcare or revenue cycle, ENT billing preferred
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing systems (ECW, Epic, AdvancedMD a plus)
- Strong knowledge of claims submission, denial management, and EOB reconciliation

- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy

- Pay $23.00 to $25.00 per hour (approx. $47,840 to $52,000 annually)
