We are seeking a professional and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, with FQHC knowledge considered a plus, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
Responsibilities include preparing and submitting insurance claims to payers, following up on outstanding claims including denials and appeals, ensuring FQHC rate codes are applied and managed, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, communicating with patients regarding payment and billing inquiries, maintaining accurate billing records and documentation, and staying up-to-date with billing and coding regulations and guidelines.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, including FQHC medical billing experience with wrap-around and PPS rate codes.
