We are seeking a Medical Biller and Medical Assistant to join our team! You will be working closely with clients to answer questions related to billing, problem logs, Prior Authorization forms, Credentialing, and processing all forms needed for insurance billing purposes.
You will also assist other Medical Billers with follow-up inquiries to clients, communicate with physicians' offices and hospitals to obtain records, and accurately record patient information.
The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable spending much of the day on the phone.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with processing insurance claims through private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare
- Noting and processing all necessary insurance forms
- Working with doctors' offices and hospitals to obtain charge and billing details
- Entering all billing and payment information accurately into the system
- Answering phones, assisting clients with questions, taking messages, and screening calls
- Recording patient check-in and check-out with vital signs during clinic hours.
