In this role, you will be integral to the financial operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring accurate billing and collections. Utilize your skills in medical terminology, EHR systems, and medical coding to process claims efficiently. Expertise in CPT and ICD-10 coding is essential for compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with medical staff to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities include timely and accurate submission of claims to commercial and government payers, reviewing claims for accuracy, resolving denied and rejected claims, answering phone inquiries from patients regarding balances due, and A/R reporting.
The candidate must communicate effectively with healthcare practitioners, medical office staff, insurance companies, and patients. Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and coding procedures is required. One year of experience is preferred. Willing to train the right person.
