Pioneer Diagnostics And Research Co is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Biller to join our team in Naperville, IL. This role ensures accurate billing and reimbursement processes for wound care services, supporting exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying wound care billing documentation, submitting claims to insurance companies, following up on claims, communicating with healthcare providers, resolving billing discrepancies and patient inquiries, staying current on insurance policies related to wound care, preparing and analyzing billing reports, collaborating with the finance team to ensure compliance with billing standards, and assisting in training new staff on billing procedures and software.

Requirements:

Proven experience in medical billing, preferably in wound care or related fields
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and insurance claim processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals
Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
Certification in medical billing and coding (CPC or CCS) is a plus
Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
