Medical Billing Specialist (Physical Therapy)

Join a team where your work directly impacts revenue, performance, and patient access.

You will own and manage insurance and patient accounts receivable (AR), aggressively follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims, identify denial trends and solve root causes, submit corrected claims and appeals promptly, collaborate closely with front desk and clinical teams to resolve issues at the source, and ensure accurate and timely payment posting.

Candidates should have 1 to 3+ years of medical billing and AR follow-up experience, a strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), claims, and reimbursement processes, initiative to take ownership and follow through on tasks, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts. Experience with outpatient physical therapy or rehab billing, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and workers' compensation is a plus.
