Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is a non-profit outpatient clinic in Vero Beach, FL, providing physical, occupational, and speech therapies since 1953.

This Medical Biller role is responsible for managing the full cycle of billing and collections, including preparing and submitting accurate medical claims (carve-outs only), overseeing third-party billing processes, managing denials and unpaid claims, posting EOBs, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA. The position supports the financial health of the clinic by minimizing claim denials and maximizing collections.

The role offers part-time to full-time hours, flexible schedule, on-site or remote work options, with compensation at $22/hour for candidates with 5+ years of experience.

Key qualifications include:

Minimum 5 years medical billing experience, preferably outpatient or clinic setting
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
Experience with EMR and billing systems (InSync/Qualifacts a plus)
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
