Patient Account Specialist

Provides medical collection services for TLRA collection units. Utilizes extensive experience as a medical collection specialist to resolve accounts placed with TLRA. Responsible for follow-up, account resolution, and communication with patients, clients, reimbursement vendors, and external entities while adhering to client, state, and federal guidelines. Ensures high levels of patient and client satisfaction. Demonstrates strong knowledge of collection processes for both Active AR and Bad Debt (BD) inventory.

Preferred qualifications include 5–7 years of relevant experience and experience with Medicare billing processes. Insurance claims or healthcare billing education may substitute for hospital experience. College education or healthcare billing/insurance training is preferred.
