The Medical Biller will accurately prepare, submit, and manage insurance claims related to sleep apnea treatment and oral appliance therapy. Responsibilities include insurance verification, billing code management, resolving claim issues, posting payments, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.
You will serve as the primary contact for insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries, collaborate with clinical and administrative staff, and generate financial and billing reports to support program performance.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding related to sleep apnea, experience with medical billing software, and a commitment to compliance are required.
Preferred: Prior experience with dental sleep medicine billing, familiarity with insurance providers' sleep apnea coverage, and certification in medical billing and coding (CPC, CPB, or equivalent).
