Medical Biller

Elevate Dermatology and Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our established, patient-centered practice at the Gaskins Road location. This role supports both our Plastic Surgery services and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and is best suited for a candidate with a strong background in surgical and procedure-based billing.

Professional, polished, and patient-focused demeanor Proven reliability and strong work ethic Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills High level of computer proficiency Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer guidelines Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment Demonstrated experience with Plastic Surgery and ASC billing Strong understanding of surgical global periods, prior authorizations, and claim follow-up

As an On-Site Medical Biller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Interpreting and resolving Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) Managing patient billing inquiries with professionalism and clarity Accurately posting insurance payments and adjustments Identifying, correcting, and appealing denied or underpaid claims Handling claims related to surgical procedures and ASC services from submission through resolution Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate charge capture

Experience with ModMed (EMA) is preferred but not required.

A criminal background check is required.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience 36–40 hours per week Bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit No weekends | No holidays
