We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our Dermatology healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, coding, and collections.

Responsibilities include:

Process and submit clean claims accurately and timely to insurance carriers
Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
Post payments and reconcile accounts with precision
Work aging reports, claim denials, and collections
Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
Utilize medical billing software to process claims
Respond to billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies
Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, guidelines, and procedures

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in medical billing, coding, and collections
Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, DRG, and medical records
Proficiency in using medical billing systems and software
Bonus points for experience with ModMed and Carecloud
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in charge entry
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance companies
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment
