Home Health and Hospice Medical Biller

Homecare Homebase is searching for a Home Health and Hospice Medical Biller responsible for complete and accurate billing and collections of all claims submitted for payment to Medicare insurance health care programs.

You will play an essential role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for customers, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include processing, monitoring, and collecting Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance claims, verifying billing data accuracy, posting payments, creating financial reports, timely resolving claims including appeals, following up on billing and collections accounts, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

The company values highly organized individuals with strong attention to detail, experience with DDE, WayStar/eSolutions, Ability, and other clearinghouses, analytical thinking, strong communication skills, team players, and home health/hospice experience is preferred.

A high school diploma is required.
