Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies is seeking a Medical Claims Specialist in San Diego, CA to manage a caseload of workers' compensation medical-only claims from inception to resolution after completing a Medical Claims Training Program.
The role involves mastering claims adjusting knowledge, learning medical and legal subjects related to worker's compensation, using computer systems for claims management, investigating new claims for compensability and severity, calculating reserves, ensuring benefits compliance with laws, managing claims to resolution, and maintaining communication with clients and internal teams.
