The Medical Biller supports these efforts by ensuring accurate and timely insurance claim submissions for Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Outpatient (OP), and Psychiatric services within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities include: entering patient demographics and charges, resolving claim rejections, identifying billing inaccuracies, collaborating cross-functionally to improve revenue and reduce errors, auditing claims, and managing escalated billing inquiries.
Candidates should have 3+ years of charge entry and billing experience in behavioral health, detailed knowledge of payer-specific requirements, proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office, familiarity with CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The role is hybrid with 4 days in-office weekly, requiring proximity to the Nashville office.
This position offers a base salary between $45,000 and $52,500 annually, subject to experience and location, along with additional incentive and benefits packages.
- Minimum 3 years of charge entry and billing experience, preferably in behavioral health
