Key responsibilities include entering demographics and charges accurately, resolving billing errors and claim rejections, auditing submitted claims, investigating escalated billing issues, and reporting trends to leadership. The role is vital for maximizing revenue through precise billing practices.
Candidates should have 3+ years of charge entry and billing experience, preferably in behavioral health, detailed knowledge of medical billing and payer requirements, organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, familiarity with CPT, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, and strong communication skills. The role requires working onsite in Nashville 4 days per week and living within a 75-minute commute.
