Liberation Programs is one of Fairfield County's leading behavioral health organizations specializing in treatment for substance use disorders including alcohol, opiates, depressants, and stimulants. The organization serves youth, adults, and families with inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient services, health education, treatment and resources for adolescents, education and prevention efforts, and permanent supportive housing.
The Accounts Receivable and Billing Representative assists in revenue optimization by verifying insurance eligibility and benefits for state, federal, and commercial insurance, preparing and submitting claims electronically, researching and resubmitting denials according to timely filing guidelines, collecting payments, entering coordination of benefits in the EHR portal, communicating client financial responsibilities to clinical team, maintaining and tracking authorizations, and performing other duties as assigned.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
High school certificate required; Bachelor's degree desired. Customer service experience. Experience in billing and collections is a plus. Proficient computer skills including MS Office and electronic health records.
